Today, Sporra has launched a new feed view. When logging into
Sporra, you can now see the accomplishments of your friends in an easy and understandable way.
Additionally, you can follow all of your friends on
Sporra as well!
Sporra is running it’s first campaign. The rider who earns the most points in August will win a 20$ gift certificate for Wiggle. Rides can be any time but the points should be earned in August.

In the cold weather it can be hard to motivate yourself so we’ve created a few winter challenges that you can complete from anywhere in the world (as long as it’s cold enough!).

The recently released
Sporra Travel ( https://travel.sporra.net) now also supports Strava. Log into your Strava account and you can find hotels located along previous activities that you completed in Japan.
Strava Routes is not currently supported due to an error in the Strava API that we are waiting to be fixed.

The Sporra Travel site has been released. Currently, it lets the user find hotels along courses uploaded in RideWithGPS using Rakuten Travel. Consequently, it only works in Japan but it will be expanded over time.
How to use:
Create your course in RideWithGPS as normal
https://travel.sporra.net Click on the “RideWithGPS” icon
Log using RidewithGPS credentials
Select the course you created
Find a hotel at the desired location along the route!
The Irohazaka hill in Nikko, Tochigi, Japan is one of the most famous in the country.
The descent during the fall foliage season is perpetually crowed as busses take the hairpin corners very slowly.
Bicycles can take the inside of the hairpins and pass cards on each one, as I did on this descent.
Take a look!
Riding through Norther Kanto, lies one of the highest passes in Japan。The descent starts at at almost 1900m and descents into Senjo-ga-hara in the Nikko area.
