May went by faster than a professional time trial team. In the cycling world you can safely say the news cycle was dominated by Strava’s removal of it’s Segment Leaderboards for free-tier users and the, ahem, zero warning the company gave to 3rd-party applications. Fortunately Sporra did not use Strava’s Leaderboards so your experience will be unaffected by this change.
We know this issue probably had you biting your nails and unable to sleep. Now that we’ve put your mind at ease let’s get to it!

We have dramatically improved your Battles page. We’ll be the first to admit that the previous version was a little…difficult to use at times, and we’re happy to report that this is no longer the case. Now you can go to sporra.cc/my/battle to see your Ongoing, Upcoming and Completed Battles and their results at a glance. We like it. We hope you will, too.
Speaking of Battles…
We’ve been hard at work on new, super double top secret battle type. We don’t want to spoil the excitement and tell you what it is just yet, but I can say that it’s going to be total pandemonium! It’s an exciting new way to have fun on your bike and also a great way to pick up a lot of extra Cogs while you’re at it. We’ll let you know as soon as this feature is released so stay tuned!
A BROKEN HEART
Unfortunate though it may be, we must inform you that we did not meet our 10,000 km target during the May Mayhem Campaign. Say it ain’t so! What does that mean? No 10,000 yen Wiggle gift voucher and no special route worth 3X Cogs. While we are a bit disappointed with the result we will re-group and try again at a future date.
We are renaming Battles to reflect new battle types being introduced. Going forward the umbrella, “catch-all” phrase will be “Battles,” but for example a 1-v-1 battle will now be called a “Duel.” Apologies if this causes any confusion in the near future – we promise you’ll get the hang of it soon.
Sporra. What motivates you?
